An experienced marketing professional, with a background in Computer Science and Mathematics, Bill wanted to create a company which made the techniques of Internet marketing available to even the smallest business. His mission was clear: “To help small and start-up businesses cost effectively develop more sales by marketing themselves to existing and new customers online.” Bill and his team have made considerable progress in the Cambridgeshire territory - tIMC’s customer offer has evolved and the business system has been developed and refined. Concentrating primarily on targeting small businesses with, typically 1-5 employees, the customer base has grown rapidly. tIMC’s clients are both local and national, through the company’s own website promotions, referrals and networking. In addition to its own skills and experience, tIMC is backed up by major product suppliers in the UK, US, Europe and India, creating a strong platform to expand geographically. These relationships ensure that tIMC is able to handle the widest possible range of projects as well as providing a rapid escalation path for problems encountered by franchisees or end-users. After spending more than four years developing the internet marketing company brand locally, we are now expanding our service nationwide. tIMC spent a great deal of time researching possible ways to make this happen and believe that Franchising is the perfect approach. tIMC (Franchising) Ltd has been specifically formed to act as the launch pad for our Franchise development in the UK. Franchising is based on a partnership approach to business. Rather than employing people to run our business in different parts of the UK, we will be forming Franchise partnerships with dedicated professionals who want to have a stake in their own future and believe in the internet marketing company concept and want to have a stake in their own future. The small business market prefers the quality of a national brand with the local support that a local franchise can offer. We therefore have the opportunity to develop a national, strongly branded network of tIMC local branches. Whilst each Franchise works as an independent, local business, it benefits from being part of something much bigger.
